This site is a static Hugo site. On this first draft:

• We do not load third-party advertising trackers.
• We do not set analytics cookies by default (Plausible or similar may be added later in a privacy-friendly configuration).
• Contact is via on-site CRM forms (download / funding) or the community forum — we do not publish a public email address on this site.

On the funding page:

• One-time tips go through the Tide Bank shop (their payment terms apply).
• Standing-order requests are submitted to our CRM so we can email bank details; we use that information only to arrange support and project updates you can unsubscribe from.

We do not sell your details. See also the download form privacy note on /download/.

Operating system

ManxOS ships with privacy-oriented defaults, including:

• Crash reporting (Apport) disabled by default
• Snap minimized in favour of APT and Flatpak
• Firefox policies that favour tracking protection and reduced telemetry

You can review and change these settings after installation. Transparency is a core principle — see About. How defaults are applied will also be documented in the public source repository when it is published (coming soon).
