This site is a static Hugo site. On this first draft:

• We do not load third-party advertising trackers.
• We do not set analytics cookies by default (Plausible or similar may be added later in a privacy-friendly configuration).
• Contact links use normal email or external community services under their own policies.

When payment processing is enabled on the funding page, card and wallet providers will process data under their own terms; we will update this page before go-live.

Operating system

ManxOS ships with privacy-oriented defaults, including:

• Crash reporting (Apport) disabled by default
• Snap minimized in favour of APT and Flatpak
• Firefox policies that favour tracking protection and reduced telemetry

You can review and change these settings after installation. Transparency is a core principle — see About. How defaults are applied will also be documented in the public source repository when it is published (coming soon).
